Peak Performances Principles

"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

John R. Noe

High Achievers.......

1. Make no small plans
In order to be a high achiever you shouldn't make any small plans. Small plans are for people who are lazy and don't want to do more than they can. Those people only choose to do the minimum work. Sure you can get somewhere with that but it's better to go the extra mile. Set higher goals for yourself. This can guarantee you get a better job or do better in life. Making small plans are for people who just want to get through life doing the average. Get through life with big plans and higher expectations for yourself. It'll be good for the long run.

2. Do what they fear
Doing what you fear is a great way to be a high achiever. This means you're going out of your comfort zone and doing things you normally wouldn't or were afraid to do. Doing things you are afraid to do shows people that you can do a lot more than they expected. You're facing your fears in order to get to where you want. You're not sitting back and letting your fears stop you from doing things.

3. Are willing to prepare
Preparing beforehand is a thing only high achievers do. These are the people that prepare and study for upcoming quizzes. They take time out of their days to prepare for things no matter the circumstances. They will be ready for anything. This includes practice. You  can't really accomplish anything if you don't practice or prepare. This also means that these people are working harder to get to where they want and need to be.

4. Are willing to risk failure
High achievers are willing to risk failure. They won't be a sore loser. If they know they can't accomplish something, they know the outcomes. They know they will fail. It's not only those that don't know how to do a certain task. Some people work hard for things but just can't do the work right. Or say someone is racing, and they are behind. It's okay to fail. It doesn't necessarily mean you're going to fail the rest of your life.

5. Are teachable
High achievers are teachable. This means that they can be taught no matter what. Even if they don't understand the topic, they'll take their time to try and understand it. These people will take time out of their day to learn a new topic no matter how long it takes. These are the ones you know will succeed. They don't give up as soon as they don't understand something but instead keep trying.

6. Have heart
Everyone has a heart but only high achievers use it for good. Not a lot of people are kind. Not a lot of people think it's necessary to help others because it's not their problem. But only real high achievers will lend a helping hand. They'll do their best to help others. Not only will this be good for them but the other person will carry on doing the same.

Final  Reflection

The Six Attitudes of High Achievers is an important thing to follow. Not only does it make you a better person but it makes you smarter. Only high achievers do these 6 things. You put others before you, you admit you made a mistake and need help. Be an active citizen and help out others, prepare for what's ahead. Risk failure.
